Applying Pulse to Availability Profiles
To apply Pulse to an Availability Profile:

Right-click in the graph and select
.
The ‘Pulse/Pulse Train’ dialog box is displayed.
- Enter the Start time for the Pulse in seconds.
- Enter the Duration of the Pulse in seconds.

Select a 'State' of
OFF or
ON, where OFF represents 0 or 'unavailability'
and ON represents 1 or 'availability'.
To apply a Pulse Train at this point, see the next procedure below.
- Click the OK button to apply the Pulse to the Data Profile.
To apply Pulse Train to an Availability Profile:
- Enter the Pulse settings as described in the procedure above.
- Tick the Pulse Train box.
- In the Pulse duration box, specify the number of seconds that the pulse will apply either the 'ON’ or 'OFF' value in a single cycle of the pulse (this depends on the state you selected in step 4 of the previous procedure).
- In the Time between box, specify the number of seconds you want to pass between pulses.
- Click the OK button to apply the Pulse Train.
